Ralink Wifi adapter
Sometimes when you try to connect your PC or Laptop with WiFi it displays error regarding 'Cant Connect to Network' or 'Network not available'. Try this solution to sort out your problem

Problem Definition:

When using Ralink RT3290 WiFi adapter unable to see 2.4 GHz SSID's on Windows 8/8.1 PC's

Manufacturer: Ralink Technology, Corp.
Description: Ralink RT3290 802.11bgn Wi-Fi Adapter
Driver version: 5.0.46.0 (also reported with previous versions)

All other devices can see and connect to the SSID

Resolution or Workaround:

Install last driver, for example v5.0.46.0 for Windows 8.1, then in regedit search for "WirelessMode" (most probably in Windows 8.1 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet1\Control\Class\***)

Now you need to change WirelessMode=X to WirelessMode=7 then restart Windows.
